Audrey's career began in 1993, fresh out of university, when she entered the instrumentation industry. Initially tasked with procurement responsibilities, she juggled supplier visits by day and customer correspondence by night, often surviving on just a few hours of sleep. Despite the demanding schedule, Audrey's dedication paid off as she rose through the ranks to become a sales manager, all while overseeing the company's ISO quality management system.
Over the course of 15 years, Audrey honed her expertise in procurement, sales, logistics, and quality management, becoming intimately familiar with the intricacies of manufacturing thermometers and pressure gauges. Her deep connections with suppliers and mastery of the industry's professional knowledge laid the groundwork for her future endeavors.
In 2008, Audrey faced a pivotal moment in her career when she decided to establish her own company, Shanghai QualityWell, with a team of seasoned professionals.
However, the journey was not without its challenges. Initially understaffed and overwhelmed by demand, Shanghai QualityWell struggled to meet production deadlines. Through Audrey's leadership and the dedication and determination of her employees, the company weathered the storm and emerged stronger than ever.
Audrey's entrepreneurial spirit didn't stop there. In 2015, she recognized the need to adapt to changing market demands and embarked on a journey to Europe to explore new opportunities. Armed with insights from exhibitions and discussions with customers, she spearheaded the establishment of an R&D department and shifted Shanghai QualityWell's focus from manufacturing customer designed products to developing new – and often improved – products
to help both the factory and her customers to expand their respective businesses.
Looking to the future, Audrey envisions Shanghai QualityWell as a leader in the production of bimetallic dial thermometers and Tridicators/Boiler Gauges, with a commitment to continuous improvement in production processes and product quality. By providing high-quality, affordable products, she aims to meet the evolving needs of customers and solidify Shanghai QualityWell's position in the global instrumentation market.
